What is BMPPD?
BMPPD – Bangladeshi Medical Plant Phytochemicals Database is the first curated phytochemical database of medicinal plants in Bangladesh, developed through two years of dedicated research at Dawnilab, the research hub of Dawn of Bioinformatics Limited Bangladesh. Dawnilab focuses on transforming scientific knowledge into practical innovations. BMPPD embodies this vision by bridging research and application, providing a structured and reliable resource for natural product exploration. It covers more than 700 medicinal plants and over 1,20,000 phytochemical compounds, curated from a wide range of scientific publications.
